Script Analytics & Stats
Whenever someone interacts with your hosted scripts, we capture various metrics which are prominantely displayed on your dashboard. The following stats are collected in real-time:
Opens
The number of times the actual script PDF has been opened, either from within Scriptiful, your profile page or from sharing your script.
Reads
This is the total times your scripts has been actually read. Unlike the Opens stat, the Read count increments only when someone reads past the first page of your script.
Downloads
The number of times someone has downloaded the PDF of your script. Note: It is recommended to not enable downloads for most cases as once downloaded, it can no longer be tracked and stats will not be collected.
Requests
This is the number of times someone has requested to read your script, either from within Scriptiful or your public profile.
Completions
This counts the number of times someone completed reading your script. A completion is defined as reaching the last page in the script PDF.
Profile Views
This shows the number of times someone has viewed your profile page, either from within Scriptiful or your public profile.
Bails
This only shows on the Shares tab or the script details page. A "bail" is captured when someone reads your script and doesn't reach the end (completion). Use this metric to determine if people are dropping off and never finishing reading your script. Looking at the Read Graph on your script details page in your dashboard will give clues as to where readers are bailing early.
