Introduction

Scriptiful comes with in a free, built-in peer-to-peer notes and feedback system similar to CoverFly-X. The feature works on a credit system, meaning you earn credits for every script you read and give notes on, and spend credits when you request notes on your own scripts.

Once you submit your script to receive notes, it goes into a queue. All scripts waiting to be claimed can be browsed in the 3 categories Shorts, Features and TV Series in the left menu. Scripts can be additionally filtered using the filter icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. So for example, if you want to give notes on only writers who live in the USA, simply click the filter icon and choose the Writer Location filter.

Rules

  • Once you claim a script, you have 5 days to complete the feedback.
  • You can cancel a claim without penalty upto 1hr from the claim time.
  • Canceling a claim after 1hr and before 48 hours results in a strike and cool down period of 24 hours. Within that period, you cannot claim another script.
  • 3 strikes and you will not be able to claim any scripts until your account is reviewed. Strikes only affect the Peer Notes system, it does not affect your account in any other way (such as for sharing or hosting scripts).
  • Leaving insulting, derogatory or rude feedback or giving notes generated by A.I will result in a permanent ban from giving notes.

Credits

There is no limit to the number of credits you earn so the more you read and review other scripts, the more scripts you collect to use to get notes on your own scripts.

For new users you automatically get between 1-3 credits to use right away.

Anonymity

When submiting your script to receive notes, we hide the script from the main directory and from the search until the feedback is completed. We also remove the title page from the script PDF (this does not affect the PDF you've shared or available from your profile page). If you want to ensure your information is 100% anonymous, ensure you have no headers or footers in your PDF with your contact information.

Likewise, if you claim a script, your profile information is not disclosed to the author.

Arbitration & Disputes

Rather than leave bad feedback or a low rating for the reviewer, you can dispute notes you've received by emailing us at support@scriptiful.com and we will refund your credits in the following circumstances:

For writers/requestors:

  • Notes are suspected of being created using A.I.
  • Reviewer left insulting, derogatory or rude feedback.
  • Feedback quality is low.
  • Notes do not represent the content of the script at all.

For reviewers/claimees:

  • Low Feedback and rating given does not match quality of the review.
  • Writer left insulting, derogatory or rude feedback.
